Definition of a Man (part 2)

I want a Man, a Brother, NOT  a player!
One who knows the value of the precious piece that I am,
One who can admire this God-given masterpiece that I represent.

When push comes to shove, I want...
One who won't bulk under pressure,
One who can rise to every opportunity.
NOT one who goes AWOL at the first sign of adversity.

I want a Man, a Friend, NOT a player!
One who will pick up the ball and be strong when I am weak,
One who will be truthful and honest when he can smell my bullshit.

When life starts to toss us around, I want...
One who will stop time to create new memories for us to appreciate,
One who will bow down to God's Authority
And knows how to cherish the Queen in me.
NOT one who will barf at the smell of responsibility.

Being all those things for me will certainly not be easy
And for that I will be all that you need.

I'll be your Woman, soft in all the right places,
Always ready to make you laugh and
Erase your forehead's creases.

I'll be your Mother, nurturing in all cases,
Always there to make sure that nothing is missing and
To relieve you from life's stresses.

I'll be your Friend, understanding and forgiving,
When you need someone to tell you something and
To push you when you need to live and stop dreaming.

I will be all that and more,
All I can be so that You can be
All that I need.

I need a Man
I need a Friend
I need a Brother, A King!!

Not a player...
