Woush!
Welcome to the realms of my thoughts. I hope you can feel as freely as I do. Bienvenu dans le royaume de mes pensées. J'espère que vous vous y sentirez aussi libre que je le suis.

Total Opposite
Some of you will say that I may have lost my mind. However, I and anyone who knows me well enough can attest that I have a pretty weird taste in music. It is eclectic and totally random. When you see me, you will think that this is the total opposite of my regular jams.
For those who like watching cute TV shows, you may recognize this young lady from the first 2 season of Gossip Girl. We can agree that she is not what we remember. Her band: The Pretty Reckless, have a really good thing going on right now and they will be in town on April 7th. Should I or should I not go???

New music...At least for me.
I have been keeping an ear out for any new sound coming out. Unfortunately, when you only rely on the radio, you might be missing out on some great artist. The kind of artist with the kind of music that will make you subconsciously bob your head and soothe your soul.
New artist alert: Esperanza Spalding (http://www.esperanzaspalding.com/)
By the way, she also won a Grammy in 2011 for Best New Artist. That says a lot about the kind of artist she is...

Long time coming...
I have been in deep reflection for the past couple of weeks. Ever since 2012 kicked in, I have started to think about what I want, what I need. Being a 28 year old single mother can definitely put things in perspective. I realized that I needed to get myself out of my funk. Change things up a little and stop procrastinating when great project are just layed out to me. Really it takes a good kick in the *arse* in order to get things moving but I did it.
Finally started saving...lolll!!! Sounds silly but if you are like me, money is just money. Something to be used ocassionally that is not really necessary. It helps a lot but doesnt make you happy. So it was really ironic to work in a BANK, giving financial advice and not applying it to myself. Well shame on me... I got scolded for that.
To a leap and got rid of a bunch of petty debts, that kept pulling me back. You know when you're telling yourself, I'll be paying this bill in full then you end up spending half of the money on uselessness. Well that'll teach me...lol!
Then I decided that I needed to release my creativity and stop holding myself back. It may be a symbolic approach but I thought that what better way to liberate my brain waves, then to remove the excess cover. And so....I...cut...my hair. Got rid of the extentions, weaves, fake chinese, indian hair and got my self a new do'.Well let me tell you, that not only am I able to see myself more clearly but I got tons of compliments and I was really scared for nothing. (Pictures coming soon)
Anyways, for this year, I also decided to be more open about experiencing new things. Whether its music, food, shows, books. I want to try it all because I definitely need a Change.
